Situated in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, we currently support up to 350 children who trek for upto 10 days across the mountains to attend this school. This is the only school in the region that provides educational and residential facilities for these children.

Prior to Our Involvement

The children were housed in a very small building with a lack of basic facilities. Very few students were able to come to this school.

Our Impact

We supported the construction of a brand new school and hostel building accommodation for over 350 children. The school has access to natural water from the mountains, which can potentially be bottled and sold to the public, creating a sustainable income stream for the schools. The school enables these children to have the chance to move away from the poverty trap and change their lives.

Watch our Manali video

The school is very efficiently run and managed, and it was wonderful to witness what a difference the educational facilities were making to the children’s lives.”
