An evening of ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh’s immortal, popular, soulful and rare ghazals performed by Bhavik Haria and friends. Jagjit Singh was regarded as the most successful recording artist outside the realm of Indian Film Music. He sang Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Sindhi and Nepalese.

Credited with popularising the Ghazal genre and making it accessible to the masses, Jagjit cut more than 40 private albums and sang for many Bollywood films.

This concert is in aid of the Rickshawalas Project to raise funds for CAREducation Trust UK. The Rickshawalas are members of the CARE Youth Team, who will be travelling from Bhuj, Gujarat through the deserts of Rajasthan and up the foothills of the Himalayas to Manali.

They will be driving the Rickshaw’s themselves, all for an amazing cause!

With your support this trip will be a real success and can change the lives of many underprivileged children and influence their futures. We have the opportunity and the ability to transform a child’s life.
