CARE’s tribute to Women’s month

We have now reached the end of an exciting month for us here at CARE. We have spent the last month bringing you information, articles, graphics and videos to illustrate the importance of women in our society, and the struggles and discrimination they have faced through the years. In honour of International Women’s day we have created a platform to discuss issues of great global importance.

We have covered issues from, gender inequality, violence against women, rape, early marriage, women lead businesses and the impact of patriarchy. We believe that all of these issues can be helped with the power of education. With education, people are empowered with the ability to make choices and to understand the impact of those decisions. With education, we can help to inform others, we can start to change the social, cultural and gender norms that have existed for centuries.
